In the impressive halls of IKEA, Planzer Transport and Swiss Post, the vast world of logistics comes to life. At Rauscher & Stoecklin, we’ll take a look inside a transformer; at Renata, we’ll see how the iconic microbatteries are produced; and at Lichterloh, we’ll visit a lighting workshop. Unser Bier is opening the doors to its brewery, the Metzgerhuus provides insights into its new facility, and Marquis Kanalservice offers a tour of its waste treatment plant, where over 30,000 tonnes of sludge are recycled every year.\u003C\u002Fp>\n\n\n\n\u003Cp>\n\u003C\u002Fp>\n\u003Cp> At the Industry Night, visitors can also get hands-on experience of a wide range of professions: at the Büchi joinery workshop, wooden items are crafted; at Etavis, electrical switches are assembled; and at Wahl Glas- und Metallbau, rose vases are welded. Adventure seekers can drive a dumper or excavator at the tozzo group, take a seat in the crane cab at Welti-Furrer, and at the Keigel and P. Schweizer garages, customise a vehicle or put their skills to the test in the wheel-changing challenge. Many of the participating companies are apprenticeship providers.
