About Offcut
Offcut collects and sells both used and leftover materials, turning waste into resources. At material markets in Basel, Zurich, Bern, St. Gallen, and Frauenfeld, the association collects used and leftover materials that would otherwise end up in landfill. It sorts, stores, and sells these materials for use in new projects, thereby extending their lifespan. Offcut raises awareness among the Swiss population about the importance of using resources mindfully and offers creative solutions to the ecological challenges of our time.
All Offcut material markets are places of inspiration and platforms for exchange, promoting proactive discussions on the topics of resource conservation and the circular economy. As a forward-looking pioneer, the association has been providing action-oriented impetus for social change since 2013 and inspiring people to adopt a more sustainable lifestyle.
