Tour suggestion by Benedikt Pfister

My tour starts at 5pm on the Dreispitz with a cold beer in the Birtel-Fahrbar. This is the ideal way to get in the mood for an evening that includes a guided tour of the Birtel beer factory at 6pm. After the guided tour, I’ll stay in the Dreispitz area and treat myself to something good for the soul: at 7pm, you can watch a live recording of the hip-hop program Xplicit Contents at the Radio X studio. To continue these good vibes, I’ll head toward the St. Louis border to Schlachthofstrasse and visit the recycling specialists at Lottner. Taking things there for disposal is always an adventure. At 9:30pm on Industrienacht, the doors will open, offering a glimpse into the secure and confidential data destruction that takes place there. This is thrilling for the historian in me, because the question of which data should be archived, and which data should be destroyed is a relevant topic within working history. Finally, I’ll treat myself to a second beer. It’s a short walk from Schlachthofstrasse to Volta Bräu. Here at 11pm, you’ll have the opportunity to learn about the art of brewing beer, while tasting three speciality beers. To me, this is the perfect way to wrap up Industrienacht.
