The 48 participating companies will give you a behind-the-scenes look in an engaging, dynamic, and memorable way. You’ll experience their daily operations firsthand and get a real feel for the workplace vibe. Unlike a traditional job fair, the Industry Night brings you directly to where the action happens—where innovation, production, and company culture come to life. It’s the perfect setting for an unforgettable evening of career exploration.
To help you navigate the event, here’s a quick overview of the industries represented:

The most significant economic sector in the Basel region, Life Sciences, sits at the intersection of medicine, biology, chemistry, technology, and the environment. Companies here develop pharmaceuticals, research health risks, create prosthetics, and much more. At the Industry Night, you’ll meet Medartis, Roche and Straumann—a fantastic opportunity to experience the world of labs and medical tech up close.

Life Sciences rely on advanced machinery and equipment produced by the MEM industry (short for Machinery, Electrical, and Metalworking). Two global leaders in this field are based in Reinach: Endress+Hauser, specializing in high-precision measuring instruments, and Neoperl, known for water-saving technologies—both standout employers.

Transport and logistics have also undergone major electrification, and at the Industrienacht, you can experience Basel as a transport hub at three locations: SBB, Felix Transport, and Ultra-Brag Logistics.
